Library

The Bilkent University Library contains a large book and periodical collection, music listening booths, CDs, records, audio and videocassettes, music scores and microfilms.

The Library receives periodicals from numerous institutions, scientific articles and technical reports from prominent research institutions in Europe and the USA, and subscribes to major foreign newspapers.

The book collection of the university is available in the Main Library Building on the Main Campus and in the East Campus Branch Library on the upper floor of the Cafeteria Building. The libraries operate on an open-stack system.

The library's catalog can be searched via the Internet from any terminal in the university or anywhere in the world. Numerous online and CD databases (such as Science Citation Index), specialized databases (such as the Turkish Plastic Arts Archive), and the Printed Music and Musical Scores collection are all accessible via the library.
